The Summer Picnic symbol family is a system of icons for a picnic on a sunny day. A limited color palette with high saturation and warm hues evoke warmth and sunshine in any environment.
What began as a set of icons expanded into a line of children's toys. With precision laser-cutting, the shapes are cut and engraved with tactile indentations for easier understanding. As flat pieces, with bright, hand-painted colors, each member of the set plays a unique role as they interact with the others.

Perhaps more exciting than its construction is getting to see the product in action. The bundle is packaged neatly on a bed of summery faux-grass, homed inside a bright, blue carton.
